About the role.
We’re looking for a Scrum Master. You’ll oversee and guide scrum teams, make sure that teams follow scrum framework values and agile practices, mentor the teams to improve processes, facilitate meetings and decision-making processes, and eliminate team impediments. This role reports directly to the Director of Engineering (Web-Growth).
What you’ll do.
- Using agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.
- Training, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, artifacts and practices, and helping teams to make improvements .
- Determining and managing task workflows, issues, risks, and action items.
- Scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes.
- Leading teams to understand and maintain velocity
- Ensuring the proper use of cross team collaborative processes and removing impediments for the scrum team.
What you’ll bring.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant experience preferred.
- Certified scrum master (CSM).
- 3+ years of experience as a scrum master or in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, to deliver solutions.
- Leadership and management experience.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Well versed in software engineering development practices (continuous delivery, integrations).
- Prefer experience working in a D2C startup.
