Mission Focus:

NT Concepts is seeking a Release Manager to support the DoD enterprise Military Housing system. This complex system of 34 web-based modules is used by over 10,000 active users to meet the housing needs of over 2.5 million service members, DoD civilians, and their families.

Location/Flexibility: DVM Area or Remote

Responsibilities: 

As a ­­­­Release Manager for NT Concepts, you will:

• Manage the life cycle development of the web applications using the Agile methodology.
• Manage project scheduling, and facilitate joint service working groups, development meetings, and training.
• and produce functional and technical requirements.
• Automate, standardize, and simplify complex military housing policies and procedures.
• Document requirements with clearly defined acceptance criteria, manage tickets and backlog in JIRA.
• Participate in system testing, to include test scenario creation and facilitation of IV&V testing.
• Perform integration and regression testing and participates in scheduled deployments.
• Assist in and document the ATO process.
• Facilitate and coordinate various Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint retrospectives and daily standups.
• Manage risk and resolve issues affecting scope, schedule, and quality.
• Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time to meet or exceed expectations.
• Contribute to Configuration Control Board (CCB) and Configuration Management Board (CMB) meetings.
• Serve as liaison between the product owners, development team, and management to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
• Ensure systems being developed comply with established enterprise guidelines and playbooks.

 Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS in a technical discipline
• 10 Years of relevant experience
• Certified Scrum Master
• CompTIA Security+ (Must possess or be able to obtain within 6 months of hire date)
• Demonstrated capability in managing multi-task projects of this scope and complexity.
• Demonstrated experience working with multiple specialties in a "one-team" environment.
• Experience across a variety of technical disciplines such as Java, Oracle.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities through prior experience working with senior management to find solutions for customers and leading teams working on different technical disciplines and integrating them into a larger program.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of project management concepts and principles.

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer 
• Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at times
