Job Description
Responsibilities
- Planning and coordinating activities for multiple projects utilizing Agile methodologies
- Interfacing with project stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure project priorities are alignment with business needs and expectations
- Working directly with the business units to understand business objectives and strategies related to project priorities
- Coordinating development across multiple agile teams, typically four to seven developers per team
- Mentor and coach teams to transfer lessons learned and continuously improve quality, predictability, and velocity
- Acting as a liaison between business units and development teams
- Managing/overseeing all aspects of multiple simultaneous fast-paced assigned projects with distributed teams
- Prioritizing new projects and coordinating work with new project teams
- Ensuring appropriate project documentation and deliverables are clearly defined and delivered
- Managing reporting process to upper management of multiple diverse teams
- Tracking, updating, and communicating project status in a proactive manner as it relates to project progress, budget/cost, resource utilization, change requests, issues, risks, and risk mitigation plans
Qualifications
- Business or Technical Degree (or equivalent experience)
- Five or more years of experience developing and/or managing development team(s); ideally split between working as a developer and scrum master
- Three or more years of experience with Oil and Gas industry
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
- Agile methodology experience; preferably SAFe and/or Scrum
- Use of project management tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps, Atlassian Jira, GitHub, Asana, Microsoft Project, etc.
