The Opportunity:

The Open Lending leadership team is looking for a Scrum Master/Project Manager to join our team and partner with our team in striving to support mission critical systems related to the Lenders Protection platform.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the Scrum Team and champion Agile principles.
  • Facilitate Scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to manage product backlogs and prioritize tasks.
  • Effectively manage project teams by ensuring clear communication and organizational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule and work plan.
  • Manage communications with stakeholders and ensure that stakeholders are aware of project activities and progress.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
  • Ensure timely delivery of releases with minimal disruption.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to streamline release processes.

What You Bring:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another relevant field.
  • 4+ years' experience as a Scrum Master and Project Manager.
  • Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM) or similar qualification.
  • Experience with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Git, JIRA/Confluence, Maven, CI/CD, Jenkins, Sonarqube, etc.
  • Technical knowledge of software development and IT deployment.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure project tasks are completed on time.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative spirit.
  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Technical writing skills.
  • Lean Six Sigma Belt
