What You’ll Do
- Coach multi-disciplinary teams in delivery in the delivery of meaningful Software Products that serve
needs of Youtube creators. This includes planning, coordination, estimation and mentoring of team
members. - Evangelize and reinforce customer centric agile software product development - solve customer’s
biggest problems that enables their growth. - Monitor progress and ensure Engineering, Product Management, Design teams are organized, focused
on delivering quality software products. - Clear all impediments and distractions that prevent team’s progress and consistency. Manage
communications and escalation with Stakeholders outside of team. - Keep a pulse on team members, through individual meetings or other means of communication.
- Facilitate SCRUM ceremonies - daily stand-ups, sprint planning, back-log grooming, sprint retrospectives.
Maintain effective and clear communications between Product Management, Engineering, UX Design
and Key Stakeholders. - Evangelize Delivery of Customer Focused products using Agile best practices. Lead through influence and
credibility.
Skills and Qualifications
- Outstanding organizational communication & interpersonal relationship building skills conducive to
collaboration; able to work well in a cross-functional, matrixed environment. - Experienced (5+ years) in role of Scrum Master in fast paced start-up environments.
- Experienced (5+ years) in delivery of complex software product initiatives using multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experienced (5+ years) in with Scrum ceremonies, and risk management.
- Experienced (5+ years) in monitoring and leveraging key Scrum metrics – bug rate, velocity, burn down
and other productivity metrics. - Experienced (3+ years) working with Jira and Confluence.
- Expert level understanding and practitioner of Agile software development lifecycle methodologies.
- Proven ability to build credibility and rapport with team - technical and non-technical team members
alike. - Proven ability in establishing credibility and rapport with senior executives and leadership.
Desired Skills
- One or more related certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional Scrum master (CSP-SM).
- Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (scrum of scrums) - Scrum at Scale, SAFe, Nexus, LeSS.
