Job Title: Scrum Master, Finance Technology (Open to Location)

Our fast-paced, highly collaborative internal Finance Technology product team is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to optimize and enhance our agile practices. This role will be pivotal to continuing to grow our agile team(s). This role is a servant leader who will facilitate multiple ceremonies through the development lifecycle, including Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, and Retrospective. As a Scrum Master you will have constant interaction with the team to observe their existing behaviors/gaps and supports the accomplishment of their goals.

What You'll Do:

  • Work to clear organizational roadblocks and keep the agile process consistent
  • Supports Scrum teams by removing impediments to protect sprint goals
  • Help to manage backlog and guide the team while facilitating a healthy team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope
  • Work with the Product Owners to understand business needs and facilitate the effort of the scrum teams (Architect, BA, Dev, QA) to iteratively develop new features and fix defects
  • Provides status reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), schedules, resources, and milestone delivery
What we'd like from you:

  • You have experience coaching teams on how to improve their scrum practices
  • Have the ability to assess the current organization and delivery environment and recommend optimal Agile practices tailored to the need
  • You are highly proficient in leveraging virtual collaboration tools (Miro, Mural, etc.) and delivery tools (Jira, ADO, etc.)
  • You have an understanding of best practices for story writing and experience serving as a Scrum Master for two or more teams
  • You are proficient in multiple agile methodologies
Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience with agile methodologies in a Scrum Master role
  • Certifications- CSM
  • Expert-level knowledge of Facilitation
  • Strong mediation and negotiation skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to audiences of all business and technical levels
  • Ability to balance the demands of multiple agile teams and products
  • Experience demonstrating breadth, creativity, and innovation
