Job Summary:

As an Individual Contributor, this position is responsible for being the ScrumMaster and also coordinating and managing technical projects. This role requires strong interpersonal skills to ensure our company's success and satisfaction.  This role also organizes and plans complex projects for the organization’s engineering, data science, research, and IT efforts.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate agile ceremonies as a ScrumMaster, ensuring the Scrum framework is implemented effectively.
• Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles, helping them maximize efficiency, collaboration, and value delivery.
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle using PMP methodologies, overseeing planning, execution, monitoring, and closure phases.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource allocation plans.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, escalating issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, advocating for best practices in project management and agile methodologies.

Required Skills & Abilities: 

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications are highly desired.
• Comprehensive understanding and application of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) in real-world projects, with multiple teams.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, DevOps, Trello, Microsoft Project) and Agile frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering 
• Proven experience (2-5 years) as a ScrumMaster and technical project manager in enterprise software.
• Experience at a fast growth, large scale company.
• Demonstrated interest and some proficiency of the technology in the AI space.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• This is a fully remote role.
