The Middle Market Product Factory is looking for a Scrum Master to join us on our transformation to Lean-Agile ways of working. The Scrum Master's primary role is to be a servant leader and coach for the Agile delivery team in a high integrated multi value stream environment. This person will help educate the team in Lean-Agile, Scrum, Kanban and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), ensuring that the agreed Lean-Agile process is being followed and aligns with The Hartford's Enterprise Business Delivery Model. They also help remove impediments, and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
- Working knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices
- Working knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand team needs; includes fundamentals of iterative and incremental development
- Working knowledge of Agile techniques: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Test-driven Development, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Burn-down Metrics, Velocity etc.
- 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
- Bachelor degree in Communications, Business, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Experience using agile toolsets such as Agile Central
- Strong communication, facilitation, presentation and consensus building skills
