Scope of Work

  • Oversees schedules, budgets, risks and requirements of products designed by Collins suppliers to ensure timely and quality supply
  • Prepares and maintains project plans on Collins side to successfully validate and verify supplier deliverables for project gate reviews
  • Provide design oversight for specifications, drawings, and test plans
  • Estimates costs, resources, and time required to complete projects to ensure business targets are met
  • Addresses technical requirements and difficulties of products designed by Collins suppliers
  • Communicates effectively with Collins suppliers to achieve business goals
  • Identifies and leads to reduction of project risks
  • Identifies and escalates project problems and supports resolutions to ensure the successful completion of projects
  • Develop and present project status and closure plans to Collins / Customer engineering and program leadership.
  • Conduct Relentless Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations for field and production engine test component removals
  • Coordinate Class I and Class II engineering changes utilizing the Collins and Pratt & Whitney Configuration Control Board processes
  • Coordinate efforts with the Category 1 supplier to carry-out any/all engineering tasks required to support program / customer milestones / objectives

  • Master or Bachelor Degree in area of Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, or similar
  • At least 3 of experience in project management or equivalent
  • Practical knowledge in Project Management methodologies (PMI, Prince2, Agile)
  • Fluent skills in MS Project, MS Office
  • Ability to work under the pressure
  • Drive for result and organizational skills
  • Excellent English and communication skills
