SDET III (QA)

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in Selenium with Java/Python, Cypress, and Web Driver is REQUIRED.

Proven experience in API testing (REST or SOAP).

Familiarity with database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL, or other data warehousing/ETL solutions) is REQUIRED.

Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools.

Understanding of ETL pipelines and associated data workflows.

Desirable Skills:

Experience building or enhancing test frameworks.

Exposure to Ansible or similar deployment automation tools is a plus.

Skills and Expertise:

Testing Types: API Testing, Functional Testing, Automation

Testing Automation Tools: Selenium, Cypress, Test Automation Frameworks

Other Skills: ETL Pipelines, Data Warehousing & ETL Software

Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work across teams. Bug Tracking & Reporting: Experience with tools like JIRA or similar.

What you’ll be doing

Automate test plans for APIs, User Interface, and other software components in Hevo’s entire technology stack.

Work independently and with the team to deliver test plans and test cases successfully.

Work consistently with a thorough, thoughtful, data-driven approach and incorporate best practices.

Write automated tests that are maintainable and reusable.

Constructively identify problems and propose solutions, taking on projects that identify and mitigate risk while measuring software quality.

Establish good working relationships with team members and peers working on related software.

Participation in design and code inspections.

What will set you up for success

Bachelor’s degree with 3-6 years experience working as an SDET for business / technology-intensive products.

Prior experience with Selenium with Java/Python, Cypress, Web Driver is REQUIRED.

Experience with REST or SOAP and a history of working with API based applications.

Experience writing or enhancing test frameworks is desired.

A good understanding of databases and/or warehouses is REQUIRED. Experience with Oracle will be an added advantage.
