Your Life As A Maven:

• Lead the team of 5-7 QA Automation Engineers
• Design, implement, execute and maintain an automation framework based on business requirements.
• Develop and organize scripts, tools, documentation, and test data sets in a version control system.
• Identifying and reproducing defects through verbal and written methods of communication. 
• Help identify gaps in test coverage and develop quality test code to fill such gaps.
• Participates in code reviews and identifies bad sections early in the process and then recodes them.
• Troubleshoot issues that team members are having with various tools and support systems.
• Ability to advocate for Improvements in automation engineering efforts to the executive management team.

Your Expertise:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 10+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer, Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), or similar Automation role 
• Strong programming skills in Java 
• 7+ years experience in developing, executing and maintaining automation frameworks/automated tests
• Proven experience with REST API testing and the common tools associated with it.
• Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, Rest Assured, Selenium, Cuke-Rest, JUnit, Jasmine, Mocha, Cucumber, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of shell scripting, linux commands
• Strong knowledge of git flow
• Knowledge of defect tracking systems and test case management systems.
• Experience working with and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines and software delivery.
• Ability to both understand the high-level picture and implement detailed solutions to problems.
• Proficiency at identifying and analyzing the root cause of complex bugs in your code as well as others’ code
