Education and Experience
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Finance from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of Software Development or proven experience desired
• 3+ years of Software Quality Assurance or proven experience desired Skills and Knowledge
• Data Lake or Data Warehouse experience is required
• Solid understanding of Data warehousing systems and the data migration concepts
• Experienced with programming languages as Python or Java and scripting language like SQL is required
• Good understanding of cloud technologies AWS or Azure is preferred
• Strong experience with ETL/ ELT validations in Oracle, Snowflake, Teradata etc
• Good Understanding of Behavior Driven Development - BDD Framework
• Experience with trading or financial applications are preferred with a practical understanding of brokerage applications highly preferred
• Ability to multi-task and shift priorities in response to changing business needs
• Proficient in the software development lifecycle - FSDM and Agile
• Understanding of Dev Ops principles and strategies as well as how to apply them to multiple SDLC models is preferred
• Proper SDL standards including code review and documentation
Skills
• Tools: API Tools (RestAssured, Postman, SoapUI/ReadyAPI, or other open-source tools), IntelliJ/Eclipse, Jenkins, Git repositories, Source-Tree, and Docker
• Languages: Java, Python (strong experience, Python 3 preferred),
• Database Dialects: Oracle, Snowflake, POSTGRES, SQL-SERVER and DynamoDB (preferred)
• Cloud Platforms: AWS preferred or Azure
