Search Engine Optimization Digital Analyst

As the SEO Digital Analyst, you will assist with the strategy, planning and reporting of 4imprint's on-site and external organic search analysis, including day-to-day management and ongoing performance optimization. The ideal candidate will have great project management skills, excellent technical credentials, and hands-on experience implementing SEO best-practices and on-site search initiatives.
Working cross-functionally, you will optimize the on-site search experience through taxonomy, technical SEO, search management, keyword research, and search rule maintenance. You will assert a test & learn mentality to continuously improve using qualitative and quantitate data to drive your analysis and insights. This role is the on-site search subject matter expert and should be well versed in all things related to search optimization.

- Demonstrate the eight core principles that guide every 4imprint teammate on a daily basis: Honesty, Curiosity, Collaboration, Flexibility, Accountability, Empathy, Positive Attitude, and Humility.
- Ensure that all copy establishes and maintains a consistent style with 4imprint's branding.
- Improve the on-site search experience across multiple web sites by using both customer behavioral data (Google Analytics) and direct customer feedback to help identify new opportunities to improve the search experience.
- Perform regular competitive analysis to better understand the ecommerce search landscape.
- Provide on-page optimization for of technical SEO for products (including but not limited to page titles, meta descriptions, text headers, H1, H2 tags, Body Text, URLs, image alt-text and internal links)
- Conduct research, analysis, and diagnosis using digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Google Search Console and more)
- Own the creation and maintenance of business rules that improve search results.
- Monitor search results for trends and opportunities, implementing changes to help reduce results or improve the search experience.
- Work closely with Merchandising, Marketing, UI/UX and other internal teams to optimize the taxonomy based on customer shopping behavior.
- Conduct keyword research, presenting findings to initiate product content copy and technical SEO updates on-site.
- Monitor site performance to understand how the site is responding to changes and trends in search rankings.
- Be the go-to expert for latest SEO trends, strategies, and algorithm best-practices as it pertains to optimizing 4imprint products on digital channels (including but not limited to YouTube, Blog and 4imprint main site).

- Have experience with digital analytics (Google Analytics) and reporting tools handling large datasets.

- Have the desire to continuously improve the eCommerce experience and process.
Required education/experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent working experience.
- 2+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, merchandising or a related field.
- Experience working on B2B eCommerce platforms with a deep understanding of digital marketing and UX concepts and how digital can improve the experience online for customers.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Analytical and mathematical skills.
