Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist (Contract)
Job Description
As an SEO Specialist - Contractor at Array, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online visibility and driving organic traffic to our platform. You will support the HelloPrivacy and Brand Yourself product line which helps millions of people clean up, protect and improve their online privacy & reputation. Leveraging your expertise in SEO strategies and industry best practices, you will optimize our website, content, and other digital assets to improve search engine rankings and attract our target audience. This is a contract position, not full time employment.
You Will:
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-impact, relevant keywords for our financial technology products and services.
- Analyze search trends and user behavior to refine keyword strategies for maximum impact.
- Optimize website content, meta tags, and URLs to align with targeted keywords and improve search engine visibility.
- Implement best practices for header tags, image alt tags, and internal linking to enhance website crawlability and indexation.
- Collaborate with our development team to implement technical SEO improvements, including site speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, and structured data markup.
- Conduct regular site audits to identify and resolve potential SEO issues.
- Work closely with our content team to create SEO-friendly content that aligns with target keywords and addresses user intent.
- Develop and execute a content distribution strategy to amplify the reach and impact of our content.
- Plan and execute link-building campaigns to acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites in the financial and technology sectors.
- Monitor key SEO metrics regularly, such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates.
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, preferably in the financial technology or credit data management industry.
- Experience in an emerging growth or startup company.
- A solid understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
