SEAS-II Incumbents

This requisition is designated for the transition of incumbent employees of the Systems Engineering Advanced Services-II (SEAS-II) contract providing broad engineering support at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) and Wallops Flight Facility (WFF) from basic research to flight experiment development and from mission operations to data analysis.

The SEAS-II contract at the NASA GSFC provides mission and instrument mission and instrument systems Engineering (M&ISE) services as well as guidance, navigation, and control systems, which includes guidance, navigation and control (GN&C) systems engineering and attitude control systems (ACS) analysis and algorithm/software development for the formulation and implementation of flight and ground systems, and development and validation of new technologies in all aspects of mission and instrument formulation and implementation for systems, science instruments, observatories, launch, ground system, spacecraft, and suborbital craft.

At NASA WFF the SEAS-II contract supports technology development, systems engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, mechanical engineering, guidance/navigation and control systems, safety engineering, metrology, and facilities engineering.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current employment on the SEAS contract supporting the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and/or Wallops Flight Facility.
