Job Description

This requisition is designated for the transition of incumbent employees of the Systems Engineering Advanced Services-II (SEAS-II) contract providing broad engineering support at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) and Wallops Flight Facility (WFF) from basic research to flight experiment development spanning mission operations to data analysis.

The SEAS-II contract at the NASA GSFC provides mission and instrument systems Engineering (M&ISE) services, guidance, navigation and control (GN&C) systems engineering, attitude control systems (ACS) analysis, and algorithm/software development. These efforts support the formulation, implementation, and validation of flight and ground systems as well as the development of new technologies for spacecraft and science instruments in addition to other systems, observatories, and suborbital craft.

At NASA WFF the SEAS-II contract supports technology development, systems engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, mechanical engineering, guidance/navigation and control systems, safety engineering, metrology, and facilities engineering.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current employment on the SEAS contract supporting the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and/or Wallops Flight Facility.
