Our Ways of Working
We have team members located across the United States spanning multiple time zones. This means we put in extra effort to make sure we connect and collaborate in ways that make sense for us. We know how valuable the flexibility of remote work is for our employees, but due to the nature of this role, we would expect someone in this role to be onsite in Beverly Hills, CA.
What the Role Is
Babylist is looking for a motivated Stock Associate to help support the Babylist Showroom and Shop inventory processes. The Stock Associate will play an essential role in helping the team feel prepared with holiday inventory levels, while also supporting shop sales floor needs.Â
This role will also assist the store leadership team with day-to-day operational tasks to make sure the Showroom and Shop are operating to their highest potential. The Stock Associate reports to the Sr. Showroom Manager and will work closely with the Boutique Manager and other showroom leadership.Â
Note: This is a seasonal position. The average work schedule for this position is 15-25 hours per week; however, actual hours may vary based on the needs of the showroom. We are looking for someone to join the team on a temporary assignment through the holidays from October 30th through January 5th.
Who You Are
- You have proven work experience as a Stock Associate or similar role for at least 1-2 years
- You are a strong problem-solver and decision-maker, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- You exhibit strong organizational skills and time management with close attention to detail
- You are familiar with point-of-sale systems and retail operations like Stocky and Shopify; not required but a plus
- You possess excellent communication skills both internally with teammates and externally with guests, with a strong focus on guest service and relationship building
- You have a passion for delivering the very best in customer experience and do so by creating genuine and warm connections
- You have the ability to work in a flexible environment, shift quickly as our business evolves, and have and always be learning mentality
- You have the ability to lift and carry 25-30lbs and stand for 8-10 hours
- You are flexible with availability and open to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
How You Will Make An Impact
- You will possess a complete understanding of applicable company systems, policies and procedures
- You maintain an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines provided by management or the Human Resources Department and/or as outlined in the Associate Policy Guide
- You will receive, inspect, and count stock for damage or missing items
- You assist the leadership team with ensuring product and displays on the sales floor are stocked appropriately and available for customers to purchase
- You perform prompt and accurate stock checks, while maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom
- You assist as sales floor support by placing online order for guests (as needed)
- You greet and receive customers in a welcoming manner, respond to customer questions, and involve higher level management, as appropriate
- You are comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as computers, hand-held and mobile devices)

The estimated pay for this role is $21.00/ hourÂ
