SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

ยท Oversee the preparation of Forms 10-Q and 10-K, earnings releases and other regulatory filings as needed
ยท Responsible for ensuring compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting requirements, including evaluating the impact of new accounting pronouncements and SEC regulations
ยท Responsible for building and maintaining data flows between accounting systems and the Companyโs SEC reporting tool (Workiva)
ยท Work with the Corporate Controller and their teams to develop quarterly reporting timelines and disclosure templates, ensuring accurate and timely completion of disclosures
ยท Oversee the preparation of schedules and documentation for SEC filings and perform tie-outs/validations of filings
ยท Assist with the monthly global consolidations process, helping to manage the consolidation of multi-national entities and FX translation
ยท Oversee the management of our equity administration process
ยท Complete financial statement analysis in support of MD&A as requested
ยท Support external audits and testing of internal controls
ยท Prepare quarterly and annual disclosure checklists.
ยท Assist with the preparation of earnings release tables.
ยท Perform technical research and prepare technical accounting memos
ยท Lead the implementation and ongoing monitoring of significant new accounting pronouncements.
ยท Support the stock-based compensation administration and accounting process

Qualifications and Requirements:
ย
ยท Bachelorโs Degree, with emphasis in Accounting
ยท Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or in process of obtaining CPA license, preferred
ยท 4+ years of Accounting experience, ideally including at least one year of experience in an SEC reporting/analyst ย role with a public company
ยท 2+ years experience successfully leading and guiding the work of a small team
ยท Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred (would consider someone directly from Big 4 if they have experience with public companies and their SEC filings)
ยท Experience with Workiva and Oracle preferred, but not required
ยท Solid understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting regulations
ยท Ability to manage multiple tasks
ยท Self-directed, accountable with a strong attention to detail
ยท Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to explain variances and reporting requirements is key
ยท Works well individually as well as in a team environment with ability to interact across functions as well as varying levels in an organization
