SEC Reporting Manager

The SEC Reporting Manager will report directly to the Global Corporate Controller. The individual must have strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and a solid foundation in SEC reporting and compliance, including SOX compliance. The individual must have the ability and demonstrated track record in researching, documenting and presenting the impact of technical accounting pronouncements (e.g., revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, EPS, acquisition purchase accounting, etc.). The individual in this position will be responsibilities will include:

• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual Form 10-Q and 10-K financial statements and related footnote disclosures
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly earnings press releases and call scripts, investor and audit committee presentations, and other correspondence with the audit committee
• Assist in preparation of annual proxy and related materials, including preparation for and coordination of annual shareholder meetings
• Assist with transition from Smaller Reporting Company to Accelerated Filer status (i.e. 404(b) compliance) and provide a leadership voice in preparing for the SOX controls implementation
• Preparation and filing of Section 16 reporting (i.e. Form 3s, and Form 4s)
• Manage stock-incentive plan administration process and activities (e.g. stock award grants, vestings, cancelations, modifications, etc.) in Identiv's equity management software (i.e. Certent)
• Research and address technical accounting topics, such as revenue recognition (ASC 606), stock-based compensation (ASC 718), earnings per share (ASC 260) and business combinations (ASC 805), including preparation of formal memoranda to support research and conclusions
• Research and propose required SEC reporting disclosures as a result of new accounting pronouncements, new guidance from the SEC, and changes in Identiv's business
• Preparation of supporting data for quarterly and annual tax provisions and annual income tax returns
• Interface with external auditors to facilitate quarterly reviews and annual audit

Requirements

• 5+ years of public accounting/private industry experience
• Strong experience with SEC reporting and compliance requirements
• Technical accounting experience in the following areas: ASC 606 - Revenue from Contracts with Customers, ASC 718 - Stock Compensation, ASC 740 - Income Taxes, ASC 830 - Foreign Currency, and ASC 805 - Business Combinations
• Experience with NetSuite (ERP system of record), Certent (equity management software), and RR Donnelley Active Disclosure or Workiva (SEC reporting software tools) desired
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• BS or BA required, CPA strongly preferred
