Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an SEC Reporting Manager to join our team! In this role you will become a part of our Corporate Finance and Accounting team and be responsible for preparation and filing of all external financial reporting documents and related SEC filings. Involves oversight and participation in planning, drafting and other activities that facilitate the efficient completion of those filings.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordination and preparation of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) quarterly and annual reports, including financial statements, footnotes, Management's Discussion and Analysis and assist with Earnings Releases and other filings.
• Review the iXBRL for the Form 10-K Annual Report, 10-Q Quarterly Reporting and 8-K filings etc.
• Manage all comments on the various report drafts, prepare support files, challenge appropriateness of disclosures, complete disclosure checklists and reporting questionnaires.
• Monitor development and research new and proposed U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and SEC Guidance and assist with research and documentation of new policies and procedures.
• Responsible for accounting and reporting of equity compensation and equity-based transactions.
• Manage the Company's SOX compliance efforts in relation to the Company's SOX documentation and compliance over the financial reporting process.
• Assist with aspects of the month end close, financial statement analytics and review.
• Support internal and external audits.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• 4-year degree in Accounting, Economics, Business (or equivalent)
• 10+ years of related work experience, including public accounting and SEC reporting.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring

• CPA preferred.
• Prefer a combination of public accounting and private industry SEC reporting experience.
