Second Mate DPO - Offshore Vessels

Our Fall Pipe vessels and Cable Laying vessels are highly technological equipment working in the offshore industry. As a Second mate DPO you carry out duties according to STCW and assist the Fst Officer.Your responsibilities

• You work under the First Mate’s supervision

• You carry out duties according to STCW t

• You contribute to the performance of the operational activities and the optimization of production

• You assist in maintaining the navigation safety and update the navigation charts and books

• You operate the DP (and ROV) system

• You observe the quality, health, safety and environmental system

Your profile

• You completed a maritime education in navigation

• You have several years of work experience in the maritime/offshore field

• You have a Certificate of Competency: Officer in charge of a navigational watch (II/1), Maritime Officer no limitations (VII/2) or Chief mate (II/2)

• You have the required, valid certificates for the position according STCW 2010 Amendments

• You have a valid HUET or BOSIET certificate

• You have an STCW VI/6 Security Awareness or VI/6 Designated Security ( preferable)

• You have a full DP certificate unlimited, You have a valid Passport, Seaman's Book, Seafarers Medical

• You have a strong awareness of Health, Safety and Environment

• You have a hands-on and no nonsense mentality, You have a good command of English
