Summary of Role:

As a SecOps Compliance Analyst at AdCellerant, you will be responsible for supporting both our Security Operations and Compliance teams. You must implement and maintain security solutions that protect and monitor our network, cloud infrastructure, and assets. You will also ensure we meet all data privacy regulations and governance framework requirements. You will be responsible for working with all areas to validate that requirements are being met and educate them on security solutions that impact their daily workload.


Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and update Security, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity and Compliance policies.
  • Work with all levels and departments of the organization to ensure that security controls are effective and appropriate.
  • Provide critical, meaningful insight into improving system security.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments and remediate any risks that meet the actionable treatment threshold.
  • Manage the workflow of new and existing contracts to ensure that all reviews, changes, and approvals are performed promptly.
  • Work with all business areas to remediate audit findings and track vulnerability resolution time.
  • Daily Alert triage related to Security Events
  • Monitoring and logging investigation. (System, Cloud, Desktop)
  • Participate in Incident Response
  • Work with Engineering teams to enforce the Least Privilege
  • Staying up to date on latest Information Security tooling, concepts, news, and vulnerabilities
  • Assist Senior team members with Security Tool implementation and tuning
  • Build SecOps alerts/tooling from observed behavior and the current landscape
  • Ensure that policies and internal controls are aligned with changes to regulatory requirements before implementation. 
  • Support different teams with security questionnaires.
  • Performs user identity administration and maintenance of user security roles and profiles.


Location Information:

This role is preferred to be located near our Denver, CO office, with hybrid work from home flexibility.

  • Our HQ is in Denver, Colorado. Our fun, downtown location is open for those who wish to work in the office, set visitor meetings, and collaborate with coworkers in person.
  • Team members must live and work in the United States* (*territories excluded), and have access to reliable, high-speed internet.


Compensation:

Total annual compensation range: $85,000 - $115,000

Requirements

  • Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001 frameworks, and SOC 2 standards
  • Practical Security Knowledge/concepts
  • Experience managing all aspects of an audit, including facilitation, planning, evidence collection, and remediation.
  • Experience writing, managing, and maintaining policies that meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Mobile Device Management tools, and Asset Management.
  • Linux knowledge
  • Familiarity with Virtual Machine environment management 
  • A basic understanding of network and web-related protocols (such as TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, and HTTPS protocols).
  • Familiarity with common security libraries, security controls, and common security flaws.
  • Strong desire to work on a team in a collaborative environment to achieve common goals

Preferred/ Complimentary

  • CISSP, SANS, CompTIA, OSCP, CEH, and/or similar certification
  • Knowledge of the SDLC
  • TCP/IP Networking
  • IAM Permissions
  • Container knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes, etc)
  • Red Team experience/knowledge
  • Scripting/programming experience (Python, SQL, C#, or Shell)
