We are seeking a full time Analyst to work in our Arlington, VA or Chicago IL office. The base salary for this position is $90,000 to $95,000.
The Analyst role supports senior management on transaction execution and new business origination. Excellent communications and analytical skills are required.
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Support senior management on transaction execution and new business origination
- Specific responsibilities will include creating materials for pitches and other meetings; analyzing companies, sectors, deal activity, corporate filings, and shareholder data
- Building relationships with internal and external deal constituents constructing and managing internal deal and investor-related databases
- Have direct interaction with client management teams
- Monitor the macroeconomic environment and issuance activity in the capital markets
- The ability to create innovative solutions, articulate complex ideas and adapt to a rapidly changing environment is essential
- Interface with the institutional sales and equity research teams on transaction execution
- Building relationships with internal and external deal constituents constructing and managing internal deal and investor-related databases
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Skills required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business.
- Understanding of relevant financial, mathematical and accounting techniques. Ability to analyze data and contribute to the definition of problems and creative solutions.
- Strong analytical and modeling skills
- Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Strong work ethic and time management skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79 and 63 licenses required.
