Security Analyst

Our client is looking to fill the role of Security Analyst/IT Asset Inventory Lead. The role is responsible for designing, building and implementing organization's asset inventory strategy, starting with the selection and implementation of associated tools. They will work closely with a broad range of constituents to augment and enhance the usability of the inventory to ensure maximum utility for the organization. This position will be integral in establishing technology lifecycle management

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities

This individual will:

• Define the organization's asset inventory and
• Develop and maintain an Asset Inventory for all hardware, software, virtual machines and devices that includes identification of owners and criticality/risk ratings

Work across teams to incorporate data from other tools to enhance the asset inventory

• Enable metrics for monitoring assets such as expired warranties, under or overused software or hardware licenses
• Provide recommendations to make adjustments or improvements to asset performance
• Coordinate governance, processes and reporting
• Identify, assess and remediate risks associated with asset management

• Experience developing and maintaining asset inventory tools and data
• Understanding of technology lifecycle management
• Program management skills
