What you will do:
The Security Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions to protect Lighthouse's information systems and data. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical skills who can work across departments to ensure security is embedded into all aspects of the business.
Where you will have impact:
- Enhance Business Security: Collaborate with business units to integrate security into business processes, making security an enabler rather than a barrier.
- Drive DevSecOps Practices: Partner with engineering teams to promote the adoption of DevSecOps and Application Security best practices.
- Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC): Apply GRC in a practical manner, balancing compliance requirements with impactful security measures.
- Certification Maintenance and Attainment: Assist in maintaining ISO27001 and PCI-DSS certifications and work towards achieving SOC2 certification.
- M&A Integration: Plan integrations paths for acquired companies with varying levels of security maturity into Lighthouse's security framework.
- Operational Support: Support the security team in daily operations, including incident handling and response.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM): Manage IAM in a cloud-native environment.
- Security Roadmap: Contribute to the planning and execution of the security roadmap.
About our team:
As a Security Architect, you'll join our tight-knit security team of three pros. We're all about keeping a strong, practical security program for Lighthouse and its portfolio companies. Our goal is to stay ahead in the ever-changing security game, comply with industry standards, and meet our growing company's needs. Lighthouse has grown a lotβfrom 250 employees post-COVID to nearly 700 this year. With that growth comes the challenge of protecting sensitive data like credit card info (PCI-DSS) and meeting new business demands, including SOC2 compliance.
We work closely with the DevOps and IT teams, forming a DevSecOps group. This setup lets us easily integrate security practices into our development and operations, promoting a culture of shared responsibility and constant improvement. As part of our security team, you'll directly impact Lighthouse security and compliance efforts. Your skills and new ideas will be key as we create and implement effective security strategies to help the business grow while protecting our most important assets.

Who you are:
- 5+ years in a security or enterprise architecture role. Experience with leading cross-organisational security initiatives or projects.
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC2, ISO27001, or PCI-DSS.
- Proven experience in a cloud-native environment.
- Ability to comprehend, document, and improve business processes.
- Strong technical foundation in IT infrastructure, software development, and network operations.
- Deep understanding of security methodologies, best practices, and industry standards.
- Ability to challenge the status quo, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively across departments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- You like staying up to date with the latest security trends and regulatory requirements
