We are expanding our Security Team and have recently opened up this security auditing position. In this role, you will lead our compliance and internal audit investigations. You’ll gather evidence from other groups and compile it together to present. You’ll be working with a group of bright individuals passionate about cybersecurity of all sorts. You will get to look deep into a big data environment and make sure it has all the security measures it needs.

What You’ll Do: Including estimated time of how much of an average week is spent doing each item. This is subject to change:

• 30% - Auditing and organizing evidence gathered from the investigation of policies and practices.

• 25% - Version tracking of apps, inventory, OS, anti-virus, and other security changes such as firewall rules. Organizing upgrade plans

• 25% - Tracking annual security events. Organizing meetings and working with required groups.

• 10% - Adding value to the security department through articles for the newsletter and participating in group meetings.

• 10% - Presentation of findings

What You’ll Bring:

• You must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Spokeo is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of one’s employment visa at this time.

• 3 + years of relevant experience in Security Assurance

• Experience in Compliance Audits: Demonstrated experience in conducting compliance audits for key standards such as PCI, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.

• Internal Audit Experience: Proven track record of conducting enterprise-wide internal audits to assess and enhance compliance and security measures.

• Proficiency in Documentation: Ability to create detailed presentations and tickets to effectively communicate audit findings, recommendations, and compliance status.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively with various departments within an Enterprise technology company, including but not limited to Development, DevOps, IT, Accounting, HR, and Legal.

• CISA Certification (Preferred): Possession of a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is considered a strong asset.
