Security Consultant- Cloud Security CSPM

As a Security Consultant you will be a key advisor for IBM’s clients analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client’s organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.
Your Role and Responsibilities

We are actively seeking an experienced and highly skilled resource to join our elite cybersecurity team. In this role you will play a critical part in shaping and implementing advanced security strategies to safeguard our organization against sophisticated cyber threats.
What you’ll do:
- Primary Responsibility:
- Deploy and configure Palo Alto Prisma Cloud CSPM across multi-cloud environments (AWS Azure).
- Monitor and assess cloud security posture identifying misconfigurations and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks such as CIS NIST GDPR.
- Provide remediation strategies for identified cloud security risks.
- Set up continuous cloud security monitoring and alerts for real-time incident detection.
- Conduct regular cloud security audits and generate compliance reports.
- Lead or support cloud security incident investigations and response.
- Educate teams on cloud security best practices and Prisma Cloud functionalities.
- Develop and implement advanced security controls for cloud environments.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Hands-on experience required in Palo Alto Prisma Cloud CSPM.
- Must have desire to learn or cross skill with new technologies.
- Must be able to work in morning evening and night shifts – Mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/information security or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CEH CISM.
- Proven experience to work in a SOC environment.
- Deep technical knowledge of security technologies and advanced threat landscapes.
- Proven experience in managing and responding to complex security incidents.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
