Your Role and Responsibilities

The Technical Validator will play a pivotal role on our team in evaluating the effectiveness of our security controls ensuring compliance with industry standards & providing strategic guidance to enhance our cybersecurity posture. This role requires some familiarity of cybersecurity principles & technologies as well as having knowledge for the conduction of Governance System Security Accreditation Continuous Monitoring (GRC) duties including System Assessment & Authorization (SA&A) & addresses findings resulting from internal/external security assessment activities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 1-3 years risk management framework (RMF)
• 1-3 years experience conduct information assurance control assessment for NIST controls
• 1-3 years of vulnerability compliance and remediation reporting
• 1-3 years of security technical implementation Guidelines (STIGs)
• 1-3 years of system development lifecycle
• Expertise in cybersecurity assessment methodologies and techniques. Familiarity with common security standards frameworks and regulations.
• Entry Level Certification such as ((ISC)² Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) Entry-Level Certification or CompTIA Security+)
• U.S. Citizenship

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• 1-3 years security content automation protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker (SCC)
• 1-3 years common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVE)
• 1-3 yeasr of assured compliance assessment solution (ACAS)
