The Security Engineer III is responsible for the research, testing, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of security products and services supported by effective change management. Other responsibilities include cloud security and cloud risk management. Additional responsibilities can include monitoring, investigating, and responding to security alerts, issues, and incidents.

Responsibilities:

• Develops, maintains, and supports processes to support the IT Security Framework such as incident management and risk management.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, prioritize risk of vulnerabilities and track remediation performed internally and externally.
• Act as an escalation path to Security issues and lead forensic investigations
• Research, test and implement new security solutions to address future and current threats.
• Identifies and investigates actual or potential information security violations. Performs follow up investigations with written reports.
• Participate in application and infrastructure projects to provide security planning and implementation.
• Develop dashboards and metrics that includes incident reporting and risk management reporting.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma / GED required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, and/or related field preferred
• Minimum of four (3) years of experience in IT Security
• Minimum of three (2) years of experience in Cloud Technologies
• Experience in vulnerability management and penetration testing
• Experience in managing SIEM solutions
• Experience in endpoint security solutions and email security solutions
• Experience in Security incident management and reporting
• CISSP, cloud security, and other security related certifications preferred
• Advanced knowledge of networking/web, phishing/cyberattacks, and incident response
• May occasionally work evenings or weekends as this position is part of an on-call rotation

For positions that are permitted or required to work remotely, employees may conduct work only within the United States and only in states where the Company is already conducting business, unless for brief periods, consistent with Company policy.

For employees in Colorado only, the anticipated range is $92,075 to $131,670. Actual starting base salary will depend on geographical location, skills, and relevant experience.

The Company also may provide benefits with this position including but not limited to: medical, dental, and vision insurance; Flexible Spending Accounts (FSUs) and/or Health Savings Accounts (HSAs); Dependent Savings Accounts; 401(k) plan with employer matching; employee stock purchase plan; and potential for bonuses. The above wage range is the Company's current good faith expectation for this position. The actual amount paid and/or offered may be less or more than this range and will be based on factors including geographic location, education, training, or experience related to the work, seniority, merit, quantity and or quality of the work.
