POSITION OVERVIEW

This role will be responsible for assisting our Information Security team with protecting Paylocity infrastructure elements, customer data, and intellectual property. This role will have the unique opportunity to rotate amongst the four various teams within Information Security to gain broad experience within all facets of an InfoSec Program. Experiences gained can include everything from writing alerts to identify malicious events, help to identify security vulnerabilities within our product, and performing risk assessments against the latest technologies. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting the team in ensuring that Paylocity continues to comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements
• The ability to exercise creativity and solve cool problems
• Support to build relationships and have exposure to various types and levels of stakeholders across the organization
• You will assist in managing risks, escalating priorities, and helping to resolve issues that could impact production quality

REQUIREMENTS:

• Working towards Bachelor's degree in a business, computer science, information security or related field with anticipated graduation between December 2023 - May 2024
• Passion for information security
• Familiarity with federal and state legal regulatory requirements related to information security and privacy
• Well versed in the information security issues affecting financial service organizations and cloud-based application service providers
• Have basic understanding of security related assurances (e.g., ISO 27001, SSAE-18, etc) and the basic tenants of enterprise risk management (vulnerability management, threat management, and risk treatment)
• Strong interpersonal communication, writing and organizational skills
• Analytical thinker who develops creative solutions
• Must be willing to learn to work effectively in an agile and team environment
• Demonstrates ownership of personal responsibilities

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $28/hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
