We're looking for a Security Engineer to join our Offensive Security Team! Our team specializes in conducting goal-oriented attack simulations and evaluating the effectiveness of security, privacy, and safety controls.
What you'll do:
  • Perform comprehensive offensive security and privacy assessments (Red & Orange teaming) across cloud, and mobile environments.
  • Emulate attacks from real world adversaries in order to assess and improve our security and signaling.
  • Discover vulnerabilities and exploit them in a discreet manner to minimize detection and avoid unnecessary disruption.
  • Collaborate with sister security and privacy engineering teams, to provide strategic roadmap guidance, highlighting gaps in our security infrastructure, detection and signaling capabilities.
  • Come up with technical solutions to address security weaknesses and work with relevant stakeholders to implement them.
  • Write code to build attack payloads, exploit vulnerabilities and automate various team operations.
  • Provide subject matter expertise as needed by the incident response team.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Deep understanding of application, network, mobile, operating system or cloud infrastructure security.
  • Ability to use modern languages (JavaScript, Python, Go etc.) for enumeration, discovery and payload development.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of a company.
  • Experienced with threat modeling and weighing various avenues of attack in offensive security engagements.
  • Passion for learning and helping others.
  • Excitement for user privacy and security.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Prior experience performing offensive security assessments.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Security Engineer related role.
  • If you have limited professional experience, you can still apply by providing evidence of your security research (such as CVEs or blogs), public bug bounty reports, previous CTF participation, or code repositories on GitHub showcasing security tools you have developed.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in scoping and guiding offensive security engagements.
  • Experience in Amazon Web Services and/or Google Cloud Platform.

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
  • Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) : The base salary range for this position is $165,00 - $230,000 annually
  • Zone B : The base salary range for this position is $157,000 - $219,000 annually
  • Zone C : The base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $196,000 annually
  • This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
