Security Escort - Federal Sector - NIGHT SHIFT

Procon Consulting is seeking an Security Escort with a minimum of 1 year of experience working in a secure environment, escorting unbadged individuals and managing security oversight. Ideal Candidates will have strong backgrounds in security in secure facilites and sensitive access locations. This role would report directly to senior leadership and our federal clients. This is a long term opening for multiyear government projects in the DC/Metro area. The initial project will be for a minimum of 2 years in Downtown Washington, D.C.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have 1 year or more of experience working in a secure environment.
• Must have experience following strict security protocols in a federal facility.
• Must be able to pass government security review and obtain or already possess federal clearance (minimum of HSPD-12).
• Reliable transportation to project location is required.
• High school diploma is required.
• Fluent English speaking and ability to use a computer is required.
• Ability to work independently during night shift with little supervision.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Escorting construction labor force within federal building project area.
• Ensure uncleared personnel are escorted from building lobby to construction project location.
• Manage access of clients or contractors inside and outside of federal facilities on project campus.
• Check and review badging for access into facility.
• Ability to determine if escort services are needed for access.
