Job Description

Have a Heart Belltown is seeking an experienced Security team member to join our team! Job Duties Include: - Monitor shop entrance, ensuring all IDs are properly checked for entry - Complete security rounds, ensuring safety and security threats are addressed and reported promptly and in accordance with company policy - Answer guest questions and provide suggestions based on guest needs and interests - May work the door and the floor, dependent on shop activity levels - Employ de-escalation tactics to quickly and professionally resolve situations as needed About You: - Must be at least 21 years of age - Security work experience in a high volume retail or hospitality environment (store, bar, club, restaurant, etc) - Outstanding customer service skills - Able to work varied days and shifts, including weekends, mornings, and nights as business requires (schedules are put out in advance) - Can work within strict compliance requirements while keeping a positive attitude This position requires union membership after 90 days of employment. Pay: $20.76 per hour plus tips Benefits: Full Time Employees Full-time employees are those generally scheduled to work at least thirty (30) hours per week. • Holiday Pay for New Year's Day, Labor Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day, Memorial Day and Juneteenth. • All employees with at least one year of continuous employment shall be eligible for up to six weeks of paid parental leave related to the birth or adoption of a child (at their regular rate of pay, based on their average hours worked for the prior year), provided this leave also qualifies under the FMLA and/or Washington’s Pregnancy or Childbirth related leave law. • An employee is eligible for up to five days paid funeral/bereavement leave upon completion of the employee's first year. • As long as employees meet the qualified minimum hours for the plan year, the pension contribution will be at $0.50 /hour for all workers averaging 20 paid hours or more per week and capped at 40 hours per week. (Union employees only) • Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability insurance effective the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
