Job Title: Security Information Client Processing Representative

BNY Mellon's Pershing offers both Wealth Solutions for broker-dealers, registered investment advisors (RIA) and trust company clients, and Institutional Solutions for prime brokers and institutional broker-dealers.

This department is responsible for maintaining and setting up securities on Pershing's security information database. The primary applications used are the Pershing Product Master system ("PROM") that holds the Security Master. Interaction with other business units is necessary for items such as corporate actions and our introducing broker dealers. This role will serve as rotational late shift coverage that provides support up until 7:00pm (ET).

Responsibilities:

• Set-up of securities
• Challenging vendor data
• Monitoring service queues
• Responding to client calls and emails
• Work on periodic projects

The successful candidate will demonstrate/possess:

• High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education experience is required
• 5+ years of total work experience in brokerage processing preferred
• Experience with the Microsoft Office product suite
• Effective communication skills
• A desire to collaborate, problem solve and seek innovative ways to improve processes
• Must be Team Player
• Must pay close attention to detail
• Must have a "Can do" attitude
