As a Seasonal Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for sales. Duties • Provide outstanding customer service by effectively communicating with customers and addressing their needs. • Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining an organized sales floor to ensure product availability. • Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately while adhering to company policies. • Engage in product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. • Utilize basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions. • Support upselling efforts by recommending additional products based on customer interests. • Supervise and guide new team members as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment. • Maintain phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or directing calls appropriately. Requirements • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. • Experience with cash registers or POS systems is preferred. • Basic math skills for accurate transaction handling. • Previous experience in sales or retail is a plus, especially in upselling techniques. • Ability to supervise and support fellow associates when required. • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills quickly. • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
