Job Summary
The Security Operations Center (SOC) Associate uses various platforms to monitor all critical and potentially hazardous environmental conditions and physical security systems focused on mitigating physical risk and safeguarding people, property, and assets throughout the Altice enterprise.
Responsibilities

• Proactively monitors facilities through the use of access control, Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), and alarm points with responsibility for virtually responding to all incidents accordingly
• Initiates and escalates incidents based on risk to internal and external resources, liaising with Law Enforcement, Fire, and EMS
• Reports on all Physical Security Systems and environmental condition alarms throughout Altice footprint
• Performs various daily maintenance tasks and reports based on operational procedures and/or management direction; responds to deficient areas to directly remediate the issue
• Performs diagnostic procedures by service architecture as directed (CCTV, Card Access, and Environmental) to identify root causes of identified problems.
• Adheres to established response plans and remediates issues as directed
• Notifies functional groups of physical security or environmental issues, escalating difficult or complex problems according to procedure
• Logs all events and activities, and generates routine reports; fulfills requests for ad-hoc reports both internally and for law enforcement agencies
• Performs specific setup, configuration, and system administration tasks as required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, Associate's degree preferred
• Previous experience in a security role, or equivalent law enforcement/military experience required
• Proficient in Office 365/Google Docs, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of CCTV, access control and intrusion systems preferred
• NYS Security Guard License, or equivalent law enforcement/military experience preferred
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification preferred
• Ability to stay focused and respond to direction/requests under pressure
• Ability to work both day and overnight shifts required

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $38,587.50 - $63,393.75 / year. The rate/Range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
