Position Summary
SHEIN Global Security and Risk Management (GSRM) is a global security organization that oversees security infrastructure, risk management, data privacy, business fraud, governance, and regulatory compliance across SHEIN's global footprint. It is composed of a team of security professionals, innovators and thought leaders that have had decades of global security experience, led large scale transformations, and served in Fortune 500 executive roles.
We are looking for a SOC (Security Operations Center) Intern for our San Diego, CA-based office hub, who will work on and learn about technologies that support our Network, Cloud, Security and eCommerce infrastructure.
There may also be an opportunity to visit one of our U.S. warehouses to understand the technology that goes into fulfilling each customer order. You will work with a team of Sr. Cybersecurity and Corporate Security personnel responsible for securing and
supporting SHEIN's global enterprise Information Technology (IT) and cloud
environments.
Job Responsibilities

• Work with Sr. Security Engineers/Analysts in various functions across Cyber and Corporate security
• Identify, evaluate and test new security technologies
• Assist in conducting highly technical investigations into advanced threat actor methodologies
• Collect information across a wide variety of sources ranging from the open source internet to the dark web
• Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors' degree or higher in the field of engineering, computer
• science or an equivalent advance technology field of study is preferred
• Passion for all things tech, especially internet and Cloud
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity technologies
• Coursework or project experience in computer networking, computer programming or related subjects
• Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Investigative and problem-solving mindset
• Basic knowledge of Networking, TCP/IP or Cloud is preferred
• Working knowledge with any programming/scripting language such as Python or PowerShell is preferred
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP is preferred
