We are seeking a Security Operations Intern to join our team.
Job Summary
As a Security Operations Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain experience and contribute to the overall security efforts of our organization. You will support the information security team by aiding in solving Tier 2 tickets related to security alerts or issues reported by our users that may require attention and assistance to our user population.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor Sec Ops security ticket queue and resolve tickets within a reasonable timeframe.
• Able to escalate to the rest of the team when needed in order to close tickets.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering and business teams when required.
• Assist the sec ops team in any related projects which you may be required.
• Help maintain/update documentation, records, and reports related to the sec ops program

Required Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited university/college program (preferably in Information Security or other related field of study).
• Strong interest in Cyber Security or Information Security Management.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and research skills.
• Proficient communication skills and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Have a willingness to learn and adapt to new projects and ideas.

This position offers a salary range of $18.00/hour to $20/hour). In addition, more information about Imprivata's benefit offerings can be found here . This salary range represents the high and low end of Imprivata's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
