Job Summary
The Security Operations Specialist III will be responsible for security operations in SCIF/SAPF environments in El Segundo. The Security Specialist will be responsible for handling many daily activities in classified environments to support mission requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provides Intelligence Community COMSEC related support
• Provides support to classified conferences ensuring all security requirements are met
• Works closely with Corporate Investigations Team regarding potential security incidents and reports findings to the Facility Security Officer
• Administers Access Control System (ACS) to multiple facilities ensuring only personnel with access and need to know have access
• Works closely with all A5 tenants, visitors and Government Accrediting Officials to ensure A5 security requirements are met
• Assists in designing, implementing, and conducting security, training, briefings, and education programs.
• Tracks, safeguards and evaluates all incoming and outgoing classified material
• Provides physical security support to construction projects and modifications
• Provides technical support for alarms and systems. Establishes a process for alarm response and repair.
• Supports the Enterprise-Special Access Program team as needed

What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with COMSEC
• Experience in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Must work well in a team environment
• Eligibility for access to Top Secret SCI and SAP
• Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations
• This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:

• Current, in-scope eligibility for TS//SCI
• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
• Experience with DISS, Scattered Castles and TALON

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to safely climb up & down a ladder
