Security Project Manager II / Security Project Manager III
This position will focus on ICD 705 builds for multiple business units within Ball Aerospace. The role includes coordination with other teams in the successful project completion to include Government customers inspections and accreditations.
What You'll Do:
  • Work with Facility Project Managers, Architects, and Electrical Engineers in design and quality control of construction standards in accordance with ICD 705/TEMPEST regulations.
  • Work closely with contractor security system integrators for planning, designing new projects in accordance with UL 2050/681 and ICD 705 to include renovation of existing DCID 6/9 spaces.
  • Work directly with Government customer in the updating of facilities database for projects and accreditations, supporting business units in short notice testing, audits for secure spaces.
  • Work directly with programs Contractor Program Security Officers (CPSOs) to ensure compliance with Government regulations.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

What You'll Need:
  • Security Project Manager II - Bachelor's Degree plus 4 or more years related experience.
  • Security Project Manager III - Bachelor's Degree plus 6 or more years related experience.
  • Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
  • Some certifications may substitute for years of related experience. E.g., Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) = 1 year, Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) = 2 years, Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) = 3 years. This is not an all-inclusive list.
  • A current, active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
  • Knowledge in process improvements, adaptive and creative thinking for design, and meeting requirements.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and skills.
  • Ability to assist other team members in other parts in Technical Security.
  • Preferred certifications/training/experience:
    • ICD 705
    • UL 2050 alarm knowledge
    • LKM 10K/X-10 functionality
    • Access control knowledge

On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • HIRING SALARY RANGE FOR SECURITY PROJECT MANAGER II: $75,000 - $102,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
  • HIRING SALARY RANGE FOR SECURITY PROJECT MANAGER III: $82,500 - $112,500 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
