What You'll Do
Interns are responsible for researching and building a solution that raises the security bar in the software development life-cycle. Because things are changing fast at Affirm, security teams need to keep innovating on how to integrate into upcoming Affirm products and evaluate their security posture. - You will get to understand how security issues occur in different environments, evaluate business risks they impose. You will get to research, design and build solutions for interesting and complex security problems that arise in fast paced software development environments.
- We pair interns with a dedicated mentor who will be by your side to give advice and ensure the success of your project. Expect to meet with them on a regular basis and receive feedback.
- There are opportunities to attend events with other interns and full-time Affirmers! Past events have included virtual cooking classes, executive fireside chats, cable car trolley tours, and Giants games.
- Interns present their work to the entire engineering organization at the end of the internship.
