Security Software Engineering Intern (2023)

As a Security Software Engineering Intern, you will join a team of engineers to build software that enables the Security team to secure Databricks infrastructure and the Databricks platform. 

Our Security organization enables customers to trust their most sensitive data and workloads to Databricks by building impactful security features, driving security best practices in engineering, and baking security into each step of the product life cycle.

You will have a dedicated mentor and will join our 2023 intern cohort where you'll connect with engineers, other interns, and leaders from across the company.

The impact you will have:

• Work with a team to build features for or on the Databricks platform
• Manage your project end-to-end, including design, code, and feedback
• Learn about building a platform that scales quickly while maintaining quality and security
• Learn how to apply your Software Engineering abilities to security problems

What we look for:

• You will graduate in fall 2023 or spring 2024 with a degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject
• You have implementation skills with a general purpose program language, such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• You have good knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and OOP principles
• You are excited to solve ambiguous problems with a collaborative team

You can select one of the following programs through this application: Summer 16-week co-op, or Summer 12-week internship. Co-ops are only available to students enrolled in a co-op program.
