Security Solutions Developer

Role Summary

The Solutions Developer helps the Information Security Risk and Compliance (ISRC) group with data automation projects

Key Responsibilities

• Data analysis and Ingestion (through API calls and other queries)
• Creation of metrics driven by business / security needs
• Maintenance and Support of framework used to safeguard data
• Monitoring and maintenance of systems used to deliver, and consume, data
• Provide feedback to improve Magna's overall enterprise security
• Stay current on security trends (solutions, processes, attacks, threat-vectors...)

Key Qualifications/Requirements

• College degree or comparable work experience.
• Proficiency in Python and PHP. (Additional programming languages will be taken into account)
• Knowledge of mySQL/MariaDB environments
• Experience with RESTful web services (API)
• Web frameworks (i.e. Django, flask, bootstrap...)
• General knowledge of Cloud platforms
• Networking and CyberSecurity knowledge
• Linux and Microsoft Operating Systems

Additional Information

On-call availability and occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.
Must be available to travel internationally on an occasional basis.
