Security Specialist

Position: Information Security Analyst

Location: Tallahassee, Florida.

Contract: 9 Months + Extension for 4 Year

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

Required Qualifications:

The Department prefers the candidate has the following experience, skills, and/or knowledge for this position:

• 5+ years server or network administration experience

• 3+ years information security administration experience in an enterprise environment with 1000 or more users

• 3+ year(s) SIEM experience

• 3+ year(s) vulnerability management experience

• Experience maintaining and supporting 3rd party antivirus applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

The client prefers the candidate has the following experience, skills, and/or knowledge for this position:

• 3+ years administering Splunk or similar SIEM

• 1+ years using Microsoft Defender products

• 1+ years working with intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)

• 1+ years using Office 365 Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

• Preparing status reports and providing management briefings

• IT standards in a criminal justice environment

• Responding to security threats in a criminal justice environment.
