Summary
The position is located in the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO), Construction, Facilities andĀ Security Management (CFSM), Office of Security Management (SM), Security Countermeasures Division (SCD), Technical Security Branch (TSB).Ā This Office provides broad-based security management support forĀ OBO and serves as the main interface between OBO, the Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), and tenantĀ organizations on physical and technical security related matters.Ā

Qualifications
Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement.Ā
Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience utilizing computer aided design and drafting (CADD) programs to design security systems. AND
- Experience assessing construction plans for the placement and installment of physical security systems.
There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-13 position.
