Description

Integrated Product Support within HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Security System Engineer (Systems Administrator 3) to support Submarine Maintenance Engineering Planning and Procurement.

This is a remote position. This position is contingent upon contract award.

What You Will Do

• Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems including coordination with network administrators.
• Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts maintaining system documentation tuning system performance installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space.
• Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
• Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
• Complete understanding and application of principles concepts practices and standards.
• Full knowledge of industry practices.
• Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform fairly complex professional tasks.
• Problem Solving: Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies.

What You Must Have

• Candidate must have either:
  • Six (6) years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field;
  • Or four (4) years relevant experience with Masters in related field;
  • Or High School Diploma or equivalent and ten (10) years relevant experience.
• Candidate must have extensive knowledge of basic concepts and processes and experience applying these with only periodic high-level guidance.
• Candidate must be able to perform successfully in non-routine and sometimes complicated situations.
• Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
• Candidate must have an active Top Secret security clearance.

Bonus Points For ...

• Direct experience with SUBMEPP and/or the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) is preferred.

Physical Requirements

Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the Systems Analyst discipline.
