Position Overview


We are looking for an experienced Security Systems Project Manager for a leading entertainment company to drive accurate and cost effective standardization and decision making that supports consistency for all global security technical efforts associated with our assigned client.


The Security Systems Project Manager will lead the deployment of security technologies including access control systems, video management systems, intercoms, alarms, etc. across their assigned region. They will be responsible for creating project plans, scheduling and driving meetings, and following up on action items with cross functional partners to close out projects. Additionally, they will manage the testing and commissioning of systems and maintain project documents including drawings, warranties, designs, etc. with the primary goal of delivering projects on time and within budget.


This is a full time position with a hybrid work schedule. The Security Systems Project Manager will work a hybrid schedule at our client’s office in Los Angeles


Essential Job Functions


- Lead project management, scheduling, structure, and analysis by overseeing all aspects of the security systems build out.

- Understanding of project management life cycle, with an ability to accurately review proposals and develop preliminary project plans including, but not limited to tasks, timeframes, and deliverables.

- Support in the testing, commissioning, and project close-out activities.

- Track project related issues and work with project team members to follow up on issues and status.Β 

- Ensure projects are effectively executed within budgeted cost and time schedules to ensure positive cash flow.

- Responsible for maximizing client satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance on all assigned projects.Β 

- Respond to inquiries and answer technical client questions in a timely and professional manner.

- Provide expert level consultation and technical services on all aspects of the security systems.

- Provide security compliance recommendations.

- Ensure change management considerations are identified and implemented within all projects.

- Identify project level milestones and integrate them into an overall program level strategy.Β 

- Supervise all project scheduling, monitor schedule variances, and recommend corrective action.

- Track actual spend, report variances, and adjust future forecasts with proper change control.

- All other assignments as required.Β 


Required Skills and Experience


- 4+ years of experience as a systems project manager leading enterprise wide deployments.

- 4+ years of PM in construction and security.

- Understanding and familiarity of network architecture and information security concepts with ability to collaborate with cross-functional peers.

- Experience with integrating security systems across various corporate platforms ex. facility codes / badge formats / card types / various video technologies / visitor management systems.

- Solid project management skills with proficiency managing numerous concurrent project deliverables with little supervision.

- Solid personal communication and diplomacy skills.

- PMP and/or CISSP is encouraged.

- Genetec experience is preferred.Β 

- Entertainment industry experience is preferred.
