Security Technical Program Manager

The Security Technical Program Manager will support the ongoing effort to protect our users and team through the leadership of the company wide security program by providing structure, rigor and visibility. The STPM will work with leaders to steward program definition, identify needs, design projects and drive those projects to success that supports the overall health of the security program. The STPM will report directly to the CISO and work alongside their staff as both a supporting partner and a leader in the organization.

• You will own the collaboration and planning within Security.
• You will own project management as a discipline as well as project tracking and performance metrics for those projects.
• You will guide major security programs to success with your excellent planning and leadership skills.
• You will help protect the security of Notion by ensure the success of cornerstone projects that meaningfully improve security at Notion.
• You will work with teams in engineering, operations, and throughout the rest of notion to improve the performance of major Security programs.

• You have demonstrated success as a TPM in security or security related capacity.
• You have experience working with engineering and non engineering teams simultaneously.
• You have experience influencing change through building buy in and persuasion.
• You have strong problem solving skills and a proven track record of making meaningful change through program management.
• You have exceptional communication skills that allow you to convey critical details regardless of your audiences technical background.

• You have a Computer Science background or equivalent technical experience.
• You have worked at a fast-growing start-up or SaaS with a high volume user base and are eager to contribute in such an environment (being a current Notion user would be great!).
• You have hands-on experience in designing and scaling a Program Management function.
• You've heard of computing pioneers like Ada Lovelace, Douglas Engelbart, Alan Kay, and others—and understand why we're big fans of their work.

Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco, the estimated base salary range for this role is $160,000 - $195,000 per year.
