Reporting to the System Security Manager in the Office of Product Security and Safety (OPSS), the Security Technical Program Manager - Systems and Services will be the security subject matter expert for Rockwell Automation delivery and service teams. This person will be responsible for driving strategic system security initiatives throughout the Lifecycle Services (LCS) Segment to grow and mature OT security for global Delivery and Services teams. The person in this role will work directly with LCS Business Leadership to ensure Systems and Services teams are following corporate processes, lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive compliance. The person in this role will also be providing technical guidance to business leadership in the area of security offerings. Key activities in this role will be defining security controls, creating and driving governance for process improvement, process change management, communication management, security content creation and training development, lead security certification projects and participate in security project planning.
In this role, this person will also support the implementation of system security initiatives in the manufacturing area of Rockwell Automation's Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) segment to support the continuous improvement efforts to secure Rockwell Automation's manufacturing processes. This role provides visibility of progress towards adoption and compliance of program goals to Senior Management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure delivery of Systems and Services processes and capabilities are architected to meet the current and future needs of the LCS business units while maintaining the integrity of the security requirements to meet Enterprise-level, regulatory, and legal security requirements. Where deficiencies exist, develop a plan including resources needed to resolve deficiencies and provide guidance for adoption. Includes ensuring adoption across the user community through training, regular releases to improve security content and communications.
- Foster a collaborative team environment while driving work prioritization to meet the needs of the security programs. Work in partnership with key members of Systems and Services businesses to drive adoption plans, facilitate issue resolution, and develop sound risk mitigation strategies to facilitate/accelerate business adoption of security initiatives.
- Communicates progress towards program goals using adoption and compliance metrics to manage the rollout and compliance of the security initiatives.
- Communicate progress toward achieving goals and adoption to Senior management. Provide timely and accurate metrics to LCS business leaders. Ensure metrics and reports provide actionable information.
- Establish / grow a network of solution security development and support professionals and other Subject Matter Experts across Rockwell Automation that are required to facilitate or drive directional change to business processes and methodologies required to meet the goals of the program.
- Successfully lead individuals and teams assigned to the program via influence, versus direct reporting relationships.
- Support deployment of ISC system security initiatives aligned to the system security architecture for LCS delivery and service teams.
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization with the cadence necessary to maintain support.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Basic Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent.
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years experience
- Experience with delivering and supporting Industrial Automation Control Systems and cloud-based solutions.
- Formal Project Management education, such as PMP certification through PMI or demonstrated experience working in a project leadership role.
- Experience working with ISA / IEC-62443, NIST, TSA directives and other industry security standards is a plus.
- Experience with leading governance and compliance programs.
- Demonstrated experience leading process improvement projects that are wide in scope.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, multiple levels of leadership and international teams.
- Ability to effectively present to audiences ranging from individual contributors to senior management.
- Knowledge of Agile development practices.
- This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor.
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI or Mayfield Heights, Ohio. Will consider remote in the North America region for the right candidate.
TRAVEL: Position may require some ad hoc travel (5-10%)
