Security Technology Project Manager

• Extensive knowledge in the design of Security Systems primarily and IT Infrastructure secondarily including but not limited to: detailed knowledge of electronic access control and surveillance systems (EACS) including various systems by manufacturer products, features, costs, and comparative performance

• EACS requirements, systems design, and design needs and coordination with other design/construction trades

• Code requirements and compliance structured cabling (fiber/copper, outside plant), technology room design, mission critical facility design, access control and surveillance systems, visitor management systems, etc.

• Intimate knowledge of Security and IT requirements including but not limited to: structural support requirements; cabling pathways; power and grounding, building standards, code compliance, etc.

• General knowledge of Information Technology (IT) services and digital media delivery technologies, network hardware, infrastructure and system architecture.

• Serve as client advocate for technology aspects of the project(s) driving and coordinating with the client’s stakeholders and the architects, engineers, general contractors, and technology installation vendors.

• Construction administration of projects. Participate in OAC meetings, site visits, and field observation reporting. Work with General Contractors and technology installation vendors to ensure installations meet performance, cost, schedule, and warranty requirements.

• Oversee systems commissioning, training, hand-off, and owner acceptance for exceptional client satisfaction.

• Develop and expand relationships with clients and with project team partners (PMs, Architects, MEPs, GCs, etc.)

• You have significant current/previous experience designing, installing, and/or overseeing the implementation of Security technology systems and optionally IT Infrastructure.

• You have experience working on projects of all size (10,000sf – 1M+ sf) across various industries including corporate, healthcare, education, civic, etc.
• You have experience using Microsoft Office / Google Software and industry specific software systems including Bluebeam, Smartsheet, Visio, CAD/REVIT, JIRA and other task management software.
• You understand the requirements and team dynamics of the client, developer, real estate team, PM, Architect, MEP, General Contractor, and technology installer team members.
• Developing project budgets, RFP and bid specifications, and serving as an independent client advocate in procuring technology solutions on behalf of your clients/projects.
• You work equally well as an individual contributor or team member.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or 10+ years of consulting and field experience.
• Minimum of 8 years experience in Security design / consulting / Project Management. 
• CTS, PSP, RCDD, LEED, and PMP certifications a plus.
• Experience designing and implementing Avigilon Access Control and CCTV

• Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually 
• Compensation is dependent upon experience.
